DESCRIPTION

The objective of this project is to determine which primary and secondary or specialized metabolites are disrupted in grapevines following Flavescence dorée infection under controlled conditions. The metabolites investigated include sugars, amino acids, organic acids and phenolic compounds (such as stilbenes, involved in the response to pathogens). Comparison between healthy and infected plants on the one hand, and between CS and M on the other hand, will allow the identification of metabolites or pathways that are associated with better resistance to FD. Additional experimentation on a less susceptible sibling of M (MagCF10) will be an asset for this comparison.
